In
our second ‘Ideal Skillset’ post we are looking at what it means and what it
takes to be a Waiter or Waitress.
Role & Responsibilities
You
will be responsible for: greeting and
seating customers, handing out menus, taking orders, delivering orders and
sometimes handling payments. You will also lay, clear, clean and re-lay tables.
Abilities
You
need to be professional, efficient and polite. You will also be expected to
have accurate knowledge of the dishes and specials on the menu. You should know
about Health & Safety/Fire regulations and also be able to work as part of
a team and follow instructions.
