With the UK on lockdown due to the escalating Coronavirus
pandemic, for many venues the question remains. Do they stay open and offer
deliveries or shut up shop until the UK comes out the other side?
Some premises have tried the takeaway option for a short
term, many just to make it through the Mother’s Day weekend, others have
persevered, some have flourished.
We spoke to head chef and cookery show regular Stephen
Terry, who decided to go ahead with service at his restaurant The Hardwick in
Abergavenny by offering a scaled down menu as takeout.
Here he explains how they managed to fulfil this final
service, but says, for now, he’s decided to close his doors.
