Video: How to Make This Year's Hottest Festive Cocktail

For those of us who work in the hospitality industry, Christmas can be really stressful. That’s why it’s important that you find time to treat yourself to a festive cocktail or two.

To help take the hard work out of creating a truly festive cocktail, ODK (producer of probably the finest real fruit purées available) and Tom Dyer (internationally renowned bartending champion) have got together to create a truly special cocktail that’s perfect for serving over the Christmas period.

The drink has been coined “Merry Fizzmas” and is pretty much a guaranteed crowd pleaser. Besides the cocktail looking and tasting amazing, it’s also really easy to make.

Ingredients Equipment
25ml Gin Mixing Glass
25ml Antica Formula Bar Spoon
25ml Campari Hi-ball Glass
15ml ODK Wild Berry Puree Julep Strainer
A little Prosecco to top
Cubed Ice
Orange twist to garnish


Method

  1. Half fill mixing glass with ice.
  2. Add Gin, Antica Formula, Campari and ODK wild Berry Puree to mixing glass.
  3. Stir until chilled and strain into a serving glass full of ice.
  4. Top off with Prosecco and garnish with a twist of orange zest.


A Little About ODK

ODK are a world famous producer of drink mixers and are based in Turin, Italy. They have been producing fruit purées since 1994 and each year they hand select the perfect fruits to use in their purées, adding nothing but water and a little sugar for a purée that tastes homemade.
